Description Aksona
Axona cabbage (KS 29 F1) is a mid-season hybrid of white cabbage developed by Kitano Seeds. This variety is distinguished by high stress resistance and adaptability, allowing successful cultivation in various regions of Ukraine during spring-summer and summer-autumn periods. The vegetation period ranges from 60 to 65 days for spring planting and from 75 to 85 days for summer planting. The plant features a compact form, strong root system, and bright green leaf color. Axona heads have a round-oval shape, weight from 2 to 3 kg, and dense internal structure with small core. They are resistant to cracking, even with excess moisture, ensuring crop preservation and high product quality. Due to high stalk and compactness, the cabbage can be stored in the field for a long time without losing market quality. The variety has excellent transportability and storability, making it popular for both fresh market sales and processing. Axona is suitable for various uses: fresh salads, pickling, and long-term storage up to 4 months after harvest. High tolerance to diseases and stressful growing conditions ensures a stable yield and high fruit quality. This hybrid cabbage variety combines excellent taste, marketability, and versatility, making it an optimal choice for farmers and consumers.
