Description Ascold NWB
Ascold NWB — an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber of Korean selection from the company Nong Woo Bio. This variety is characterized by high yield and stable fruiting even under adverse conditions, thanks to its strong stem and well-developed root system, which ensures resistance to stress and prevents fruit drop. Fruits form in clusters, with 2 to 5 cucumbers per node, measuring 12–14 cm in length, featuring an attractive green color and small seed cavity, enhancing their commercial quality.

Ascold NWB has a pleasant sweet taste and is versatile in use. It can be grown year-round, from early spring through the summer and autumn seasons. The hybrid is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, pickling, and preservation, making it popular among farmers and gardeners. Its ease of cultivation and high productivity make it an excellent choice for various climatic conditions.

Sowing seeds is recommended in April–May, followed by transplanting in May, with fruit maturity occurring in June–July. Fruits have an average weight of about 50 grams and size of 9–14 cm, which is convenient for harvesting and further use. Seed packaging usually contains 10 seeds weighing approximately 10 grams, facilitating easy planning of planting and care for the plants.
