Cucumber Afrodita

Efficient Production in Glass Greenhouses

The 'Aphrodite' cucumber, developed by SSF Parthenocarpic, is a specialized hybrid tailored for professional greenhouse operations. Created through a partnership involving Semo A.S. (Czech Republic) and renowned breeders Lubov Suchkova and Natalia Khokhlova, this hybrid is optimized for the controlled environment of glasshouses.

Practical Implementation and Yield Management

For large-scale agricultural enterprises, the primary objective is to maintain consistent production quality. The 'Aphrodite' hybrid delivers a 200-gram fruit, which fits the standard requirements of modern retail chains perfectly. Its uniformity and stable size make it a favorite for planning supply schedules.

• Technological Integration: This variety is designed for intensive cultivation systems. Success depends on maintaining precise microclimate control and nutrient management within glass structures to fully capitalize on the hybrid's genetics.
• Market Readiness: With its robust fruit density, 'Aphrodite' handles post-harvest handling and long-distance transport exceptionally well, ensuring that the produce reaches the consumer in prime condition.
• Quality Assurance: As the originator and patent holder, SSF Parthenocarpic provides strict oversight of the seed stock. This reliability is crucial for farmers managing large hectares, ensuring that the plants perform consistently throughout the growing season.

This hybrid is an excellent choice for commercial growers focusing on high-tech farming, automated irrigation, and structured pruning. It is built to turn high operational investments into consistent market-grade yields.
