Description Athlete
Cucumber Athlete (Athlete F1) is a hybrid variety with a vigorous plant, stem length reaching 3-3.5 meters. The fruits of this variety are 20-22 cm long, 4.0-4.5 cm in diameter, and weigh 180-210 grams. They have a dark green color with light stripes, large bumps, and white spines. The cucumbers have excellent taste and soft flesh, making them ideal for fresh consumption, but they are not suitable for canning or pickling.

The Athlete F1 variety is characterized by medium ripening and high yield, which can reach 33 kg per 1 m² when grown in glass greenhouses. The plant forms a robust bush, which promotes better pollination and increased fruiting. To achieve maximum yield, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, planting cucumbers after potatoes, cabbage, or onions, and using complex fertilizers and watering with warm water.

This variety is versatile in cultivation and suitable for various climatic zones, especially performing well in temperate climates when grown under plastic covers or in greenhouses. Due to the vigorous growth of the plant, high greenhouses are recommended. Cucumber Athlete F1 is popular among farmers and gardeners due to its combination of high productivity, excellent taste, and ease of care.
