Cornflower LILAC FOG

Selection Origin

The cornflower variety 'Sirenevaya Dymka' is the result of dedicated work by Russian plant breeders. It was developed by a team including experts from the Educational and Scientific Center 'Vegetable Experimental Station' and the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing (Levko G.D., Gordeev D.K.). This variety emerged to meet the market demand for ornamental plants with a unique color palette uncommon in wild species.

Aesthetic and Agronomic Characteristics

The key feature of 'Sirenevaya Dymka' is the deep violet hue of its inflorescences, which makes the plant stand out against the backdrop of classic blue or white cornflowers. This variety has found wide application in both professional and amateur landscaping. Its primary use is in decorative plantings, including mixed borders, meadow-style flower beds, or garden designs inspired by the 'Provence' aesthetic.
