Lilac Fog is an annual field flower from the chamomile family, distinguished by its bright purple hue and decorative bud shape. Petals feature a serrated, intricate edge that gives the buds a royal appearance. The plant height ranges from 50 to 80 cm, while the flower diameter reaches 6–8 cm.
Lilac Fog does not require seedling cultivation – seeds are sown directly into fertile soil at the end of April or beginning of May. The plant prefers sunny locations and thrives in slightly alkaline, but not acidic, soil. Flowering lasts approximately five months, starting from mid-summer and ending before the first frosts.
Lilac Fog is excellent for group plantings along fences or in open garden areas, creating an impressive carpet of bright purple buds. It withstands dry periods well and is resistant to major diseases, making it a reliable choice for decorative greening.
