Grin Dom

Basil 'Grin Dom' – an early-maturing green basil variety of the Genovese type from the American company Spark Seeds. The plant features dome-shaped, evenly shaped leaves of a bright green color with a glossy surface. The stem branches well, ensuring a compact yet bushy plant reaching up to 40 cm in height.

The variety is intended for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, or containers. It is undemanding: it withstands heat and demonstrates stable yields even with limited watering. The vegetative period lasts from 60 to 70 days, after which the plant is ready for harvest.

'Grin Dom' is characterized by a high content of essential oils, which gives it a rich aroma and a slightly sweet taste with a spicy aftertaste. Thanks to this, the variety is widely used in fresh form for salads, garnishing dishes, preparing sauces, and pasta, as well as in dried or frozen state. It transports well and preserves its aroma for a long time.
