Cornflower Yunga

Selection heritage for your garden

The 'Yunga' cornflower variety is the result of long-term work by breeders at the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS. This variety is a prime example of classical Ukrainian breeding, focused on adaptability to local climatic conditions. Unlike imported hybrids, 'Yunga' demonstrates resilience to temperature fluctuations and soil characteristics typical for the region, making it a predictable and reliable tool for landscape design.

Operational characteristics

• Color: A rich blue spectrum that maintains color purity throughout the flowering period.
• Usage: The variety was originally designed as a universal tool, suitable for both creating aesthetic decorative arrays and professional cut flower production.
• Application context: Due to its height and stem structure, 'Yunga' fits perfectly into the concept of naturalistic flower beds, meadow lawns, and mixed borders.

The reputation of this variety is based on the simplicity of its agrotechnology. Experts note that 'Yunga' does not require highly specialized cultivation conditions, which lowers the barrier for novice gardeners while maintaining the quality standards demanded in professional landscaping. By choosing this variety, you are opting for proven genetic material adapted to Ukrainian soils that allows for the creation of stable floral arrangements with minimal maintenance effort.
