ES Astrakan

The ES Astrakan hybrid corn is a mid-early maturing variety with FAO 300, registered in the State Register for the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions for grain production. The plant is of medium height with early tassel flowering. The main tassel axis is long and higher than the upper lateral branches, forming a small angle with the lateral branches, which are slightly curved and of medium length. The anthocyanin coloration of the silk is very weak, which is a characteristic feature of this hybrid. The ear is long, weakly conical, with a short shank and uncolored stalk. The grain is intermediate type, yellow-orange in color at the top. The hybrid exhibits high initial growth energy, promoting rapid plant development in early vegetative stages.
