Predictable results with Saaten-Union hybrids

In the world of sweet corn production, consistency is the key to profit. The ZU 345BU hybrid, developed by the German company Saaten-Union, is a simple hybrid designed for those who value uniformity and predictable output. From an operator's perspective, this hybrid stands out for its high adaptability to different soil conditions, making the daily field management much easier.

Cultivation and harvesting advantages

The main advantage of using a simple hybrid like ZU 345BU is the uniformity of the crop. When it comes to harvesting time, the plants reach maturity at the same time, which significantly reduces downtime and losses. The grain is strictly of the sweet type, featuring a delicate texture and high sugar content, which are the industry standards for top-quality processing and fresh produce markets.

• Hybrid type: Simple hybrid, providing excellent crop evenness.
• Usage: Specifically bred for the sweet corn market.
• Performance: Sturdy stalks and consistent grain filling under standard field conditions.

Maintenance is straightforward, as the plant responds well to standard fertilization and pest control protocols. The stalk strength is particularly notable, ensuring the crop remains upright even in challenging weather, which protects your bottom line by reducing mechanical losses during the harvest process.
