Description ZPPL 37
ZPPL 37 is a medium-early simple hybrid corn of the grain type, characterized by high yield and stable performance. The plant has medium height, slightly curved leaves with a small angle between the leaf blade and stem, as well as strong anthocyanic coloration of the sheath of the first leaf. The ear is cylindrical, of medium length and thickness, with a long stalk and medium number of rows of kernels. The kernels are dent-shaped, with the upper part yellow and the lower part orange, giving the hybrid its distinctive appearance. The hybrid exhibits good grain drying rate during maturity, facilitating harvest and reducing grain moisture to optimal levels. The vegetation period is approximately 108 days, corresponding to the medium-early type. ZPPL 37 demonstrates high yield, reaching over 90 centners per hectare in some regions, while being resistant to southern helminthosporiosis, bacterial disease, and Fusarium ear rot. Additionally, the hybrid is genetically resistant to corn borer, significantly reducing pest damage. Moreover, ZPPL 37 shows high drought and lodging tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including the entire territory of Ukraine. These features ensure reliability and efficiency in cultivation, enabling stable and high grain yields even under challenging agroclimatic conditions.
