Maize ZPK 578

ZPK 578 is a simple corn hybrid intended for grain use. The hybrid belongs to the late-maturing varieties with a vegetation period of about 147 days, which corresponds to the average level in the cultivation regions. Plants are of medium height with curved leaves and weak anthocyanic pigmentation of various parts, indicating its adaptive features. The ear is of medium length and thickness, with medium-sized kernels closer to starchy type, with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part and orange on the lower. The hybrid exhibits high potential for yield both of green mass and grain. ZPK 578 grain is characterized by high energy properties, making it especially valuable for pig and cattle fattening. The grain contains 71.5% starch, 10.1% protein, and 4.8% oil. These indicators ensure high nutritional value and digestibility of the entire plant, positively affecting animal productivity. The hybrid shows stable yield performance in various regions, including Central, Central Chernozem, and Lower Volga, where grain yield exceeds standard indicators by 7-11%. To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to cultivate using classical technology with plowing, crop rotation, and fertilization. Pre-harvest grain moisture varies depending on the region, allowing flexible adjustment of harvest timing. ZPK 578 is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality grain with increased grain yield and effective animal feeding.
