Maize Zalishchickiy 191 SV

Reliable Ukrainian Hybrid Genetics

Developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS of Ukraine, the "Zalishchytskyi 191 SV" hybrid stands as a testament to adaptive breeding tailored for local agricultural conditions. As a simple hybrid with an FAO rating of 190 (within the 190–240 range), it has firmly established itself in the mid-early segment, specifically designed for grain production.

Agronomic Profile and Pest Resistance

For modern farmers, minimizing risks is essential. "Zalishchytskyi 191 SV" addresses these concerns through a robust biological resistance profile, crucial for protecting yield potential:

• High resistance to common smut and head smut.
• Significant tolerance to cotton bollworm and European corn borer damage, reducing the need for aggressive insecticide applications.

The simple hybrid architecture ensures consistent emergence and uniform maturation, which simplifies harvest planning and contributes to stable grain quality across diverse soil types.

Market Position

"Zalishchytskyi 191 SV" is the preferred choice for producers who value proven, cost-effective solutions. It remains a staple in the market due to its predictability and performance in standard farming environments. For enterprises looking to balance seed investment costs with reliable yields, this hybrid offers an efficient, no-nonsense alternative to more expensive, intensive-input imported varieties.
