Twister — mid-early hybrid maize for grain, developed by MAIS with FAO 270, characterized by high yield potential up to 135 c/ha. This hybrid has tooth-like yellow kernels, plant height of 255–265 cm, and ear attachment height of 90–100 cm. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 290–300 g, indicating high seed quality. Twister is well-adapted to various climatic conditions in Ukraine, making it a versatile choice for farmers. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to drought, cold, lodging, and major diseases such as fusarium and corn smut, as well as strong resistance to stem borer. Thanks to these traits, Twister maintains stable yields even under unfavorable growing conditions. Additionally, the hybrid rapidly dries during maturation, facilitating timely harvest and preserving grain quality. Twister responds well to improved cultivation conditions, allowing maximum yield under optimal care. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 55–60 thousand plants per hectare under low moisture and 75–80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture. This hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking productive and stress-tolerant maize varieties.
