ARKADI KS — mid-early maturity simple hybrid corn with dent type kernels, developed by Kossad Semans. Plants reach a height of about 290 cm, with ears attached at a height of 133 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy, equal to 7, and forms ears with 16 rows of kernels, each containing approximately 36 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 324 grams, contributing to a high yield potential of up to 140 centners per hectare. ARKADI KS is distinguished by high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and adverse factors. The hybrid shows resistance to early lodging (rating 8), lodging at harvest (7), and possesses high regenerative capacity (8) and good phytosanitary condition (8). Special attention has been paid to resistance to Helminthosporium (8) and powdery mildew (9), ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions. Additionally, the corn demonstrates resistance to drought, cold, and other stress factors, making it a flexible and adaptable hybrid. The recommended planting density for ARKADI KS varies depending on growing conditions: in dry regions, 65-70 thousand seeds per hectare is optimal, while in areas with sufficient moisture, 75-85 thousand seeds per hectare is recommended. Due to its combination of high yield, stability, and disease resistance, this hybrid is an excellent choice for efficient and reliable corn production in various agroclimatic zones.
