Maize SEVERSKY 190 MV

Reliability and Plasticity in High-Risk Farming Zones

Seversky 190 MV is the product of breeding work by the All-Russian Research Institute of Corn and the Lukyanenko National Grain Center. This hybrid has secured a strong position in the portfolios of farms focused on stable grain production in regions with short growing seasons. Classified as an early-maturing hybrid with FAO 190–240, it fits perfectly into crop rotations where fast moisture release is critical.

Agronomic Advantages

The three-way cross formula ensures highly uniform crop stands, simplifying maintenance and harvesting. The flint-dent yellow grain type combines the strengths of both: excellent test weight and density, typical of flint corn, along with the processing efficiency of dent corn.

• Biological Protection: Genetic resistance to major phytopathogens, including common smut, helminthosporiosis, and bacteriosis, helps reduce expenditure on fungicide applications.
• Technological Adaptability: The hybrid shows predictable performance when optimal sowing dates are followed, demonstrating high initial growth energy even in cool spring conditions.

Choosing Seversky 190 MV is a pragmatic solution for growers who require predictable outcomes in corn grain production. Due to its resistance to lodging and pathogens, this hybrid minimizes harvest loss risks in unstable climatic conditions.
