Description BAXSITA
BAXSITA — early-maturing hybrid maize (Zea mays L.), intended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, West Siberian, and Middle Volga regions. This three-line hybrid is highly adaptable and suitable for cultivation in areas such as Kaliningrad, Lipetsk, and Perm regions. The plant is tall with medium-sized ears, facilitating harvesting and ensuring good productivity.

The grain of BAXSITA is silica-serrated with a characteristic yellowish-white coloration on the upper part and a colored ear stalk. The average grain yield is approximately 33.1 centners per hectare, and the normalized dry matter yield is 105.8 centners per hectare, indicating the hybrid's high potential. Due to resistance to southern helminthosporium, the hybrid provides reliable protection against this common disease, although it shows a moderate level of fusarium ear infection and severe damage from bacterial disease. The plant is also significantly damaged by the stalk borer.

BAXSITA is recommended for use in agronomic systems oriented toward early harvest dates and stable yields under various climatic zones. Resistance to smut and other diseases makes this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers aiming for efficient and high-quality maize production.
