S 3 DKK 313 — a mid-season corn hybrid with a vegetation period of 110-115 days and maturity group FAO 310. Plants are strong, 160-200 cm tall, with a robust root system and high resistance to lodging. Ears are cylindrical, 16-20 cm long, with yellow kernels of a cream-colored, dent type, containing 70-72% starch and 10% protein. Ear attachment height is 115-120 cm, with a 1000-seed weight of 340 grams. Grain yield potential is 145-155 centners per hectare.

The hybrid exhibits high plasticity and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, including areas with unstable and sufficient moisture. It has good cold tolerance but is heat-loving and requires irrigation, poorly tolerating temperatures below 12 °C. Recommended planting density varies from 60,000-65,000 plants per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture to 70,000-75,000 plants per hectare in areas with sufficient moisture. The hybrid is suitable for monoculture, conventional and minimum tillage, and is one of the best options for No-Till technology.

S 3 DKK 313 has high resistance to major corn diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and common smut, and is tolerant to corn borer. Due to its high sugar content and sweet taste, the hybrid is suitable for use as sweet corn for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.
