Maize PXBVB

Working with the Pioneer s.a. Pkhvvvb Hybrid

When selecting corn for the food sector, the requirements for a hybrid become significantly more stringent. The Pkhvvvb hybrid from the American brand Pioneer s.a. has proven to be a highly technological and predictable tool for growers focused on fresh market produce and food processing.

Versatile Application

The main advantage of this hybrid is its flexibility. Use it not only for traditional canning but also for fresh market cob sales and quick freezing. The kernels maintain stable organoleptic properties, which is vital for the food industry. If any part of the harvest remains unsold, it is seamlessly diverted to animal feed, ensuring zero waste.

Operational Performance

• Field Performance: While the agronomic practices are standard, this hybrid is highly responsive to micronutrient application. Pioneer s.a. breeding, rooted in US experience, focuses on stress tolerance, and Pkhvvvb is no exception—it maintains a steady growth rate even during temperature fluctuations.
• Harvesting: The harvesting process is smooth. The cobs are well-filled, which simplifies combine header adjustments and reduces kernel damage.
• Logistics and Storage: Due to its superior market characteristics, the product withstands transport well without losing its visual appeal.

If you are looking for a hybrid for intensive cultivation aimed at the food processing sector, Pkhvvvb meets almost all requirements, from canning facilities to retail sales of boiled corn. It is a reliable "workhorse" that requires no special complex management, provided the manufacturer’s basic agronomic protocols are followed.
