Maria

The hybrid corn 'Maria' is an early-maturing three-line variety of Ukrainian selection, intended for cultivation both for grain and silage. It features rapid early growth and good plasticity, enabling successful adaptation to various soil-climatic conditions, including the Forest-Steppe and Polесьe zones. Plant height reaches 245 cm, and the potential grain yield is up to 12.5 t/ha, making this hybrid attractive for intensive cultivation technologies.

'Maria' exhibits high resistance to adverse factors such as drought, cold, powdery and downy mildew, southern helminthosporiosis, bacterial disease, and fusarium. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid demonstrates stable productivity and reliability in various regions, including the Central Chernozem, East Siberian, and Far Eastern areas. The average grain yield in the Central Chernozem region reaches 51 c/ha, matching the level of standard varieties.
