Description VALENTIN
The hybrid corn VALENTIN is a medium-early simple double-row variety intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. The plant is tall with a long ear, the grain is cream-colored with a yellow-orange hue on the upper part. The tassel has a medium angle between the main axis and side branches, which are curved, and a medium number of primary side branches. The time of silk emergence varies from early to medium, with medium-intensity anthocyanin coloring. The length of the main tassel axis exceeds the length of the upper side branch on average. The hybrid VALENTIN is characterized by high yield: average grain yield is 91.8 c/ha, and normalized dry matter yield is 150.9 c/ha, exceeding standard values by 5.0 and 7.8 c/ha respectively. The crop is resistant to common smut, but susceptible to ear diseases such as bacterial blight and fusarium. Damage from stem borer varies from moderate to severe, reaching up to 70% of affected plants. The hybrid is produced on a normal cytoplasm, ensuring stability of its characteristics. VALENTIN is suitable for use as grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for agricultural enterprises. Thanks to its agronomic properties and resistance to several diseases, this hybrid is suitable for effective cultivation in the North Caucasus region, ensuring high productivity and quality of harvest.
