Hybrid corn Restoration SV is a high-yielding variety designed for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. This medium-early hybrid with a FAO of approximately 270-280 is distinguished by its high grain yield, reaching 9-10.5 t/ha under test conditions at standard moisture levels. Plants are tall, ranging from 230 to 320 cm in height, with well-developed leaf apparatus and low bushiness, promoting effective photosynthesis and resistance to adverse conditions. The ear is cylindrical or slightly conical, 20-23 cm long, with 16-20 rows of kernels and 40-49 kernels per row. The kernels are yellow-orange, dent-shaped, with a distinct floury layer, weighing 280-310 g per 1000 kernels. The grain yield per ear is 79-82%, ensuring high harvest efficiency. Plants exhibit high resistance to lodging, diseases including common smut, and also possess good cold and drought tolerance, making the hybrid a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions. The hybrid is versatile for both grain and silage production. Due to plant remontancy, especially pronounced during dry periods, additional biomass growth and crop resilience are ensured. For planting, optimal density should be maintained depending on the cultivation zone: 50,000 plants per hectare in the Steppe and 80-90,000 in the Forest-Steppe and Polissia. Seed production is carried out on sterile basis with a complete fertility restoration scheme, ensuring high seed quality and stable yields.
