The RGT AXXILIN hybrid maize is an early, high-yielding variety with strong agronomic characteristics, intended for grain use. It is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, drought, and diseases, including stalk and ear fusarium, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. Thanks to its rapid water release and high stress tolerance, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in monoculture and under various soil management methods, including minimum and no-till systems.
RGT AXXILIN is characterized by rapid early growth and high cold tolerance, allowing successful planting at optimal times when soil temperature is between 8 and 14 ºC. The medium-height plant with cream-colored, toothed kernels forms 16-18 rows with 38 to 42 kernels per row, and the 1000-kernel weight is 320-340 grams. The recommended planting density varies depending on the region: from 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in the steppe zone to 65-70 thousand in the Polissia region.
This hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to soil-climatic conditions and possesses a strong root system, ensuring reliable development and resistance to lodging throughout the entire vegetation period. Its stability has been confirmed by trials in various regions of Ukraine, where yields ranged from 93 to 145 centners per hectare. Thus, RGT AXXILIN is an optimal choice for farmers seeking high and stable maize yields with minimal risks.
