PR37K85

The PR37K85 corn hybrid is a mid-late maturing grain variety with a FAO rating of approximately 410, recommended for cultivation in steppe regions. This hybrid is characterized by high grain productivity and stability of performance under various soil and climatic conditions, making it suitable for the entire territory of Ukraine. The hybrid's producer is the company Pioneer, and the year of variety registration is 2005.

PR37K85 features rapid early growth and high water release rate during maturation, which facilitates harvesting and reduces the risk of yield losses. The grain is dent-type, which promotes good processing and utilization in various directions, including grain and ethanol production. The hybrid exhibits high drought tolerance and tolerance to common corn diseases such as helminthosporiosis, blister, and gray leaf spot, as well as resistance to damage by corn borer.

The recommended planting density depends on the level of water availability: under sufficient moisture, the optimal density is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare; under limited moisture, it is 55-60 thousand. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in monoculture and under minimum soil tillage.
