Maize P8523

Reliable yields in the early-maturing segment

When the agronomic calendar demands rapid field clearing, the Pioneer P8523/П8523 hybrid becomes a reliable tool for crop rotation planning. This simple-cross corn hybrid, developed by U.S. breeders, is designed for those who value predictability and high-quality grain production.

Practical application scenarios

The primary specialization of this hybrid is commercial grain production. With a maturity period of 90-100 days, P8523 fits perfectly into operations that plant in both optimal and tighter time windows. It performs effectively in fields where harvesting must be completed before unfavorable autumn weather or where fields need to be cleared in time for winter crop establishment.

Agronomic potential and resilience

• Crop health: Strong genetic resistance to loose and boil smut allows for reduced fungicide application rates while minimizing grain quality losses, even under high infection pressure.
• Grain stability: The dent-type grain ensures high test weight and rapid dry-down, which is critical for reducing post-harvest drying costs.
• Agronomic versatility: The hybrid responds well to standard intensive fertilization schemes and behaves predictably across various soil types common in temperate moisture zones.

Choosing Pioneer P8523 is a strategy for risk mitigation. In the field, the hybrid demonstrates excellent germination and uniform development, simplifying crop management and streamlining the harvest campaign.
