Description NS 375
NS 375 is a simple interline hybrid maize, intended for cultivation for grain, silage, and grain-silage mix. The plant is tall, reaching 250-265 cm in height and having 17-18 leaves. The ear is large, weakly conical, containing 16-18 rows of dent, yellow, elongated kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 300-320 g, and the grain yield upon shelling reaches 89-91%. The hybrid is characterized by good early development, high heat and drought tolerance, as well as resistance to smut, stalk rot, and lodging. NS 375 belongs to hybrids with maximum potential yield. In steppe zone conditions, grain yield reaches 77-97 ц/га, and under sufficient moisture and irrigation, it can increase to 110-176 ц/га. Grain moderately rapidly loses moisture upon maturity, facilitating harvest and storage. The hybrid shows stable productivity under various growing conditions and high ear proportion in silage mass. Recommended plant density varies depending on conditions: 55-60 тыс./га in dry regions, 65-75 тыс./га under sufficient moisture, and 85-95 тыс./га on irrigated lands. NS 375 was developed at the Institute of Plant Production and possesses high adaptability to various climatic conditions. Due to its characteristics, the hybrid is widely used in agriculture for obtaining high-quality grain and silage, ensuring stable and high yields.
