Corn Subotivskiy 190 SV is an early-maturing hybrid developed by the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. It is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, ensuring stable productivity under various weather and climatic conditions. This variety is widely used in Ukraine across different soil types, confirming its adaptability and plasticity.
The plant has a long ear length, with the upper leaf tip being rounded and the leaf blade positioned at an inclined angle. The ear has medium density with strong anthocyanin pigmentation at the base of the husk, while the husks themselves have weak pigmentation. The "silking" time for 50% of plants ranges from early to medium, with no anthocyanin pigmentation on the "silks". The ear is conical-cylindrical with medium length, featuring a crystalline type of orange-colored kernels with moderate anthocyanin pigmentation on the husk sheaths.
Studies conducted in the Cherkasy region showed that the hybrid Subotivskiy 190 SV has one of the highest productivities and plasticity to weather conditions among domestic corn varieties. This makes it a profitable choice for agricultural production, ensuring high yields and resistance to adverse environmental factors.
