ZPTK 260

ZPTK 260 is a hybrid of early-maturing corn with FAO index 260, intended for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including the middle belt of Russia, Polесье and the forest-steppe zone. Plants of this hybrid have medium or high growth with medium-width leaves, which contributes to good development and formation of yield. Seeds have high germination and disease resistance, ensuring stable and high-quality harvest.

The hybrid is characterized by cream-colored, toothed grain type, making it versatile for obtaining both high-quality grain and silage. ZPTK 260 is distinguished by resistance to lodging and rapid moisture release, which facilitates harvest and reduces yield loss. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 75-80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and no more than 55-60 thousand under dry conditions.

Yield of the hybrid in various regions has been confirmed by practice: in the Volga-Vyatka region, average grain yield is about 75.3 c/ha, and in the Central region — up to 163.1 c/ha. For seed treatment, use of protective agents REDIGO M and PONCGO 600 FS or PONCGO VOTIVO is recommended, which additionally increases plant resistance and seed quality.
