Lipovets 225 MV — a mid-early maize hybrid with maturity group FAO 230, developed in Ukraine. It features high resistance to diseases and stress factors, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, where it demonstrates high productivity — from 8.0–8.5 t/ha in steppe zones to 10.5–11.0 t/ha in forest-steppe zones.
Plants reach a height of 230–240 cm, with ear attachment height around 70 cm. The hybrid does not form bushy growth, has a cylindrical ear shape with 16–18 rows of kernels. Kernels are yellow-orange, with 1000-kernel weight of 270–280 g, and grain yield reaches 83–84%. The plant stem in the first generation has a red color.
