Maize LAZHOISKY 175 MV

Genetic Architecture and Adaptability

Ladozhsky 175 MV is a three-line hybrid of early-maturing corn developed by NPO 'Semenovodstvo Kubani', utilizing breeding solutions adapted to climatic risks in regions with short growing seasons. The three-line hybrid structure is a key technical solution: it combines high crop uniformity with a pronounced heterosis effect, which directly impacts yield stability under environmental stress.

Phytosanitary Resistance

The agronomic value of this hybrid lies in its genetic tolerance to a complex of pathogens that typically reduce corn yield potential. Selective breeding has focused on several critical factors:

• Helminthosporiosis: High resistance minimizes premature senescence of the leaf apparatus.
• Fusarium: Resistance to ear rot, which is crucial for grain quality and silage mass preservation.
• Common Smut: Robust genetic defense, reducing the risk of loss of vegetative mass and productive organs.

Agrotechnological Parameters

The dual-purpose nature of the hybrid (grain and silage) makes Ladozhsky 175 MV a flexible tool for fodder management or commercial production. The hybrid demonstrates high responsiveness to seeding density: for optimal vegetative mass and ear formation, the recommended density is 60,000–65,000 plants/ha for silage and 70,000–85,000 plants/ha for grain production. Its early maturity allows for stable yields even in temperate climates, ensuring efficient grain moisture dry-down during maturation.
