LADEZHSKIY 148 SV — an early-maturing three-line hybrid corn, developed by the breeding enterprise NPO "Semenovodstvo Kubani". It is intended for cultivation in regions with a short summer period, including the Central, Volga, Ural, West Siberian, and Far Eastern regions. The plant is characterized by high cold resistance and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions.

The hybrid features strong stalks and a well-developed root system, reaching a height of about 260 cm, with ear attachment height at 90 cm. The ear contains 14 rows of kernels, each containing approximately 34 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 260 grams, indicating large kernel size and high product quality. LADEZHSKIY 148 SV has good dry-down properties, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses.

The hybrid's yield potential reaches up to 110 centners per hectare under optimal growing conditions. The recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 80-85 thousand plants per hectare with adequate moisture, and 60-65 thousand with insufficient moisture. The hybrid also demonstrates moderate resistance to helminthosporiosis and other major corn diseases, reducing the need for intensive plant protection and promoting ecological production.
