KWS MILEKANO — this is a ratoon hybrid of sweet corn, characterized by high adaptability and stable yield across various agroclimatic zones, including drought-prone areas. The hybrid exhibits very rapid water shedding, enabling effective use in regions with limited moisture. It is intended for grain production and demonstrates high yield potential, reaching up to 18 tons per hectare.
KWS MILEKANO plants have a height of 270 to 280 cm, with ears attached at 110-120 cm. The ears contain 16 to 18 rows of dent kernels, with 36-39 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 290 to 310 grams, indicating high grain size and quality. The hybrid shows high resistance to stalk borers, providing additional protection and yield stability.
The recommended plant density at harvest varies depending on soil moisture levels: 70-80 thousand plants per hectare with sufficient moisture, 60-70 thousand with medium levels, and 45-55 thousand with low levels. Thanks to these characteristics, KWS MILEKANO is suitable for cultivation both in monoculture and various agronomic systems, ensuring reliable and high-quality sweet corn yields.
