MADIVO is a mid-early dent corn hybrid of French selection, intended for grain and silage production. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential up to 140 c/ha, enabling record-breaking performance when grown. Plants have medium-high stature, medium ear attachment, and exhibit a dent kernel type with yellow upper and yellow-orange lower portions.
One of the key features of MADIVO is its excellent drying capacity, which allows grain moisture to rapidly drop to 14% directly in the field, eliminating the need for additional drying. This significantly simplifies harvesting and reduces costs for subsequent crop processing. The plant has straight leaves with a small angle between leaf blade and stem, as well as weak anthocyanin pigmentation in roots and other parts, indicating its resistance and adaptability.
The hybrid has been included in Ukraine’s State Register since 2017 and is recommended for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region. The vegetation period is approximately 103 days, corresponding to average maturity. MADIVO stands out for its high productivity in dry matter content in green mass, making it a versatile and efficient choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality grain and silage.
