ROSS 272 AMV

ROSS 272 AMV — a high-yielding corn hybrid characterized by high drought and cold tolerance. Plants of this hybrid are medium-height, reaching 210–235 cm, with two ears and well-developed foliage. Due to its resistance to lodging and stem breakage, the hybrid ensures stable yield formation even under adverse weather conditions. The kernels are large, yellow, and dent-type, which contributes to high dry matter content and favorable ear-to-green mass ratio.

Studies have shown that under optimal plant density of 80,000 plants per hectare and differential irrigation regime of 70–80–70% of the soil’s total water capacity, the hybrid ROSS 272 AMV demonstrates maximum grain productivity. These parameters allow for efficient utilization of the hybrid’s potential and achieve yields up to 12 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for cultivation on chestnut soils and regions with limited water supply.

To protect ROSS 272 AMV corn crops from weeds, the herbicide MAIS-TEr POWER is recommended, which effectively controls a wide range of grassy and broadleaf weeds. The preparation is applied during the 3–6 leaf stage of the crop at a rate of 1.25–1.5 liters per hectare, ensuring reliable protection and supporting high hybrid yield.
