Maize KMJU 199 VM

Stability and Adaptability: The KMU 199 VM Hybrid

In modern crop production, choosing a maize hybrid means finding a balance between a short growing season and yield potential. Developed by the experts at NPO Kubanzerno in collaboration with the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, KMU 199 VM offers a solution for growers focusing on early maturity and versatility.

Agronomic Profile and Resistance

This model is recognized for its high field tolerance to key pathogens threatening maize fields. The hybrid’s genetic protection is effective against common and head smut, as well as onion stalk smut. Notably, it also displays strong resistance to the European corn borer, a pest that significantly reduces grain quality.

• FAO and Growth Dynamics: As an early-maturing hybrid, KMU 199 VM demonstrates rapid ripening, which is essential for regions with shorter growing seasons.
• Grain Type: The intermediate yellow dent grain type ensures excellent test weight and is suitable for intensive processing.
• Multi-purpose Use: The hybrid is highly productive whether grown for grain, silage, or feed, making it a flexible asset for farm management.

By selecting KMU 199 VM, producers gain access to proven genetics designed for consistent performance across diverse climatic conditions. Its robust resistance to diseases and pests reduces the need for frequent fungicide and insecticide applications, directly improving the overall economic efficiency of the operation.
