Corn hybrid Landmark F1 is a super-sweet Sh2 type hybrid with early maturity — about 73 days. The plants are strong and well-developed, reaching a height of approximately 195 cm and forming a minimum of two ears per stalk. The ears have a cylindrical shape, about 21 cm long, and contain 12-14 rows of kernels. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for both industrial processing and fresh market sales.
The main advantage of Landmark F1 corn is its high sugar content, which provides a sweeter taste compared to other Se-type hybrids. Additionally, this variety has the ability to be stored for a long time after harvest, making it convenient for transportation and sale under various conditions. The plant is also suitable for combine harvesting, which simplifies the harvesting process.
In addition to seeds for cultivation, corn is widely used in canned form. Canned corn contains corn, sugar, and water, has a shelf life of 12 months, and is used for culinary purposes as well as for fish feeding, for example, as bait on hooks or to enrich fish feed with grains. The production date is indicated on the packaging, allowing control over the freshness of the product.
