Maize Codiflou

Codiflou corn is a simple hybrid with FAO 290, belonging to the mid-early maturity group. Plants reach a height of 275-280 cm, with ear attachment at 110-115 cm. A versatile hybrid suitable for both grain and silage production. Grain has an intermediate type and yellow color, with ears containing 14-16 rows of kernels. Potential yield is 130-135 c/ha, ensuring high grain output. The hybrid features a balanced composition and plasticity, facilitating adaptation to various growing conditions.

Codiflou exhibits good seedling vigor and cold and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic zones. Thanks to its high resistance to adverse environmental factors such as heat and drought, the hybrid maintains functionality during the latter half of the vegetation period, which is especially important under prolonged dry conditions. Seeds are recommended to be sown at optimal soil warming temperature of +10-12 °C to ensure successful germination.

The hybrid responds well to increased fertilizer doses and improved growing conditions, promoting maximum potential expression. It matures with green leaves and naturally loses moisture, simplifying harvesting and storage. Due to its characteristics, Codiflou consistently achieves high yields in various growing regions, confirmed by test results and exceeding many similar hybrids.
