Description Hulk
Hulk Hybrid is a classic early-maturing winter rape, characterized by forming a compact rosette and slow spring growth. These features ensure high plant resistance to frost during critical development periods. Due to its high winter hardiness and adaptability to various environmental stress factors, Hulk is a reliable choice for cultivation in different climatic zones, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe.

It is a vigorous hybrid with a vegetation period of 295-300 days. The weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 4.7 to 5.6 grams, oil content reaches 48.4%, making it attractive for oil production. Plant height reaches 180 cm, with glucosinolate content within 0.4-0.5%, and erucic acid content is minimal — 0.0-0.2%. The hybrid’s yield potential is up to 70 centners per hectare, with an average yield of about 50 centners per hectare over test years.

Hulk Hybrid exhibits high resistance to various diseases and adverse conditions. It demonstrates high drought tolerance and resistance to lodging, as well as good resistance to shattering. Among diseases, it shows high resistance to fomosis, black leg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial diseases. The recommended seeding rate is 350-500 thousand seeds per hectare, which promotes optimal growth and maximum productivity.
