Corn Harvest is a high-yielding hybrid belonging to one of the main agricultural crops widely used in Ukraine. Corn occupies about 30% of the country's sown area, highlighting its importance for the agricultural sector. When selecting corn seeds, the maturity group (FAO) is the key factor, reflecting the relative maturity of the hybrid and influencing the time to maturity and dry matter content in ears. Corn hybrids are classified by the international FAO scale from 100 to 900 points, where every 10 points correspond to a difference of 1-2 days of maturity or 1-2% dry matter. Harvest belongs to one of these groups, ensuring optimal maturity timing and high yield. The range includes hybrids with different maturity groups: early, mid-early, mid, and mid-late, allowing selection of the optimal variant for a specific region and growing conditions. When choosing seeds, drought resistance, frost tolerance, disease resistance, recommended growing regions, and intended use — silage or grain — are also considered. Harvest is distinguished by good water shedding and lodging resistance, contributing to maintaining yield quality and enhancing productivity. It is recommended to grow several hybrids with different characteristics to improve yield stability and quality. Additionally, Harvest corn is available in various kernel types: dent, flint, flint-dent, and semi-dent, which affects usage characteristics and processing technology. This allows adapting the crop to different purposes and growing conditions. Harvest corn seeds provide high productivity when agronomic recommendations are followed, making them an attractive choice for farmers and large farms aiming for efficient and high-quality corn production.
