The fungicide Gart is a contact preventive and curative agent designed to protect various agricultural crops from a wide spectrum of fungal disease pathogens. The active ingredient of the preparation is copper hydroxide at a concentration of 770 g/kg, which belongs to inorganic copper compounds. The preparation is available in powder form and must be dissolved in water before use. Gart is distinguished by high efficiency, low application rate, and begins to act immediately after treatment, providing reliable protection both on the surface and within plant tissues. The mechanism of action of the fungicide is based on the absorption of copper by fungal spores and bacteria upon contact with treated surfaces, preventing their germination and cell division. Copper disrupts the metabolic processes of pathogens, suppressing enzymatic reactions, which significantly reduces their aggressive impact on plants. Thanks to this, Gart effectively protects crops from various fungal diseases and contributes to maintaining plant health throughout the growing season. Additionally, the preparation helps protect crops from spring frosts and is environmentally safe. It is recommended to apply Gart on dry, windless days with air temperature not exceeding 25 degrees. The maximum number of applications is four per season, with an application rate of approximately 30 g of the preparation per 8 liters of water per 100 square meters. The pre-harvest interval is 30 days. The fungicide is compatible with most plant protection products, except organophosphates and products that lower the acidity of the spray mixture below pH 5.5. Gart is suitable for treating crops such as cucumbers, potatoes, onions, fruit trees, tomatoes, and grapes.
