Description
Corn Hamlet is a high-yielding hybrid developed for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including regions of Ukraine. This variety is distinguished by its excellent adaptability to weather conditions, ensuring stable and high yields. The vegetation period ranges from 119 to 121 days depending on the region, enabling effective planning of sowing and harvesting. Hamlet is suitable for both feed production and processing, thanks to its high commercial quality and excellent taste characteristics.
Hamlet corn plants reach a height of 214 to 234 cm, with ears forming at a height of approximately 80-86 cm above ground. The ears have a cylindrical shape, measuring 24-26 cm in length and about 5.5 cm in diameter, with 14-18 rows of kernels. The grain contains 8.2-9.1% protein and 72.7-73.5% starch, providing high nutritional value. The grain yield reaches 80-82%, indicating high seed efficiency.
The Hamlet hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors, including drought, lodging, gray leaf spot, stalk rot, corn borer, and gnomosis, with resistance ratings ranging from 7 to 9 points. The minimum soil temperature for sowing is 10-11°C, expanding cultivation possibilities across various regions. Yield examples confirm the hybrid's potential: in certain regions of Ukraine, yields reach 12-13.6 tons per hectare, making Hamlet a reliable choice for farmers seeking maximum productivity.
