Barley Cerbinetta

Focusing on stable yields under moisture deficit conditions

The 'Serbinetta' barley from TerraVita Ukraine is the choice for farmers who prioritize intensive farming and predictable results. Thanks to its adaptability and high winter hardiness (9 points), this variety allows for minimizing risks associated with seasonal weather fluctuations.

Agronomic potential and characteristics

This two-row spring barley variety was designed for high productivity. With a standard plant height of 50–60 cm, the crop demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging, which is critical for mechanized harvesting. The maturity spectrum (from 80 to 110 days) provides flexibility in planning the sowing campaign depending on the farm's climatic zone.

Protection and grain quality

• Comprehensive protection: Genetic resistance to loose smut and downy mildew reduces the dependency on fungicide treatments.
• Phytosanitary barrier: The variety effectively withstands threats such as helminthosporiosis, stem smut, and powdery mildew, allowing it to maintain yield potential even in unfavorable years.
• Technological indicators: A nitrogen content of 11% makes the grain suitable for feed purposes, ensuring stable nutritional value.

Practical experience shows that 'Serbinetta' best reveals its potential in fertile soils when sowing rates are strictly followed. By choosing this variety, you get a balanced solution for crop rotation that combines high energy value with reliable protection against key pathogens.
