Description Ferum
Ferum — this is an early-maturing three-line hybrid of grain corn, intended for grain production. It is characterized by dent-type kernels of bright yellow color and high yield potential of 100-115 c/ha. Plants reach a height of 240-250 cm, and the ear is attached at a height of 85-110 cm, with an ear length of 18-19 cm, 14-18 rows, and 26-68 kernels per row. The thousand-kernel weight varies within the range of 270-280 grams, and the harvest moisture content of the grain is 14-16%, ensuring rapid moisture release during ripening and facilitating harvest.

The Ferum hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to adverse growing conditions, including drought, cold, lodging, as well as diseases such as fusarium and smut diseases. The resistance level to drought and cold is rated at 8-9 points, making this hybrid especially suitable for cultivation in northern regions with variable climates. Healthy plants ensure a stable yield even at early planting and harvesting dates, allowing effective planning of agronomic practices.

For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to adjust the planting density depending on soil moisture: 55-65 thousand plants per hectare in case of insufficient moisture, and 75-85 thousand in case of adequate moisture. High grain yield at harvest (81-83%) and good moisture release characteristics make Ferum a profitable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable grain corn yields.
