Maize Farmactos

Field Performance of Farmsaat Farmaktos

Working with Farmsaat hybrids provides that classic German standard: it is not just about the yield potential, but about field consistency. Farmaktos is a simple hybrid that performs predictably even under moderate management, producing high-quality flint-dent type grain every season.

Phytosanitary Resistance

The primary advantage for a grower is the reduced need for intense chemical intervention. Farmaktos shows strong natural tolerance against boil smut and the European corn borer. This built-in protection is a major asset in high-humidity seasons.

Key Agronomic Metrics

• FAO: 90–1240 — a flexible range for diverse growing conditions.
• Maturity: 90-100 days. The crop matures uniformly, which makes harvest planning straightforward.
• Usage: Grain. The grain is designed for efficient moisture loss, reducing drying costs post-harvest.

The German breeding expertise from Farmsaat, Freiherr Von Moreau Saatzucht, and Ludwig Feldmeier created a hybrid that balances biomass with ear development. If you prioritize reliability, low disease pressure, and grain quality, Farmaktos is a robust solution that minimizes operational risks and maximizes harvest output.
