Farmactos

Farmactos — an early-maturing corn hybrid, distinguished by its high water-use efficiency and robust root system. Plants reach a height of 240-260 cm, with cream-colored, toothed kernels arranged in 14-16 rows, each containing 38-40 kernels, yielding 532 to 640 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 260 to 300 grams, indicating high grain density and quality.

The agronomic traits of Farmactos include high early growth vigor (9 out of 9), excellent lodging resistance (9 out of 9), as well as good drought and cold tolerance (7 out of 9 each). The hybrid exhibits moderate resistance to diseases such as common rust (5 out of 9), Fusarium (7 out of 9), and helminthosporium (6 out of 9), as well as to pests, particularly corn borer (7 out of 9).

Farmactos demonstrates high yields across various regions of Ukraine, achieving yields from 8.7 to 13.9 tons per hectare in areas such as Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Rivne. This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in diverse climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
