ES Torquaz hybrid sweet corn is a high-yield solution for intensive and semi-intensive cultivation. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group with FAO 240-290 and has a silica-toothed kernel type. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 55-65 thousand seeds under insufficient moisture. Each package contains 80 thousand seeds, ensuring convenience and cost-effectiveness during sowing.

ES Torquaz features a strong root system that efficiently utilizes nutrients and moisture from deep soil layers, which is especially important for increasing yields on sandy and less fertile soils. Its sturdy stalk provides high resistance to lodging, reducing losses during harvest. The rapid moisture release from the kernels helps optimize drying costs, making the hybrid advantageous for farmers aiming to reduce expenses.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Northern Steppe, Forest Steppe, and Polесьe regions, where it demonstrates high adaptability and compensatory abilities. Optimal sowing begins when soil temperature reaches +10°C. To achieve maximum yield, the sum of effective temperatures must be considered: 910°C until flowering, 1580°C for silage with 32% dry matter, and 1720°C for grain with 32% moisture.
