The Okato corn hybrid is a simple mid-early hybrid designed for high grain yield. It belongs to the maturity group with FAO 240 and is characterized by orange, flinty-milled kernels. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 280 to 340 grams, indicating large, high-quality seeds. Plants reach heights of 270 to 310 cm, with ear attachment height of 90–100 cm. The ear measures 19–22 cm in length and 4–5 cm in diameter, with 14–16 rows and 28–34 kernels per row, ensuring abundant kernel formation — 400 to 540 kernels per ear. Due to its characteristics, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, offering versatility.
