Maize ES METRONOM

French breeding for consistent yields

The «ES Metronom» hybrid by Euralis Semences is a strategic choice for producers seeking a balance between high productivity and versatility. French breeding standards here emphasize reliability: with a maturity period of 100–110 days, the crop demonstrates excellent adaptability to temperate climates.

Key advantages of «ES Metronom»

• Versatile application: Due to its flint grain type, the hybrid is equally effective for grain production and high-quality silage preparation.
• Phytosanitary shield: A standout feature of this model is its strong natural resistance to common pathogens. The hybrid shows robust resistance to common and head smut, as well as tolerance to Helminthosporium and Fusarium, significantly reducing the need for intensive fungicide treatments.
• Predictable maturity: The short vegetation period allows for precise harvest planning, which is vital in regions prone to early autumn frosts.

«ES Metronom» is optimal for farmers focused on predictable results without excessive risk. Utilizing original seed material from Euralis Semences ensures the high growth vigor and yield potential developed by Lidea and Pierre Carolo.

It is important to note that, as a flint hybrid, ES Metronom requires precise plant density management to fully unlock the potential of each ear. This is not a high-input, experimental hybrid, but a workhorse that consistently performs in the field, minimizing losses caused by diseases and environmental stressors.
