Maize ES CIRRIUS

Stability and Phytosanitary Control

French breeding from Euralis Semences has always prioritized high intensive potential, and the "ES Sirius" hybrid is no exception. This three-line maize hybrid has carved out a niche in farms focused on achieving stable grain yields, even under less-than-ideal phytosanitary conditions. The key feature of this hybrid lies in its genetically encoded "armor" against major pathogens.

Protective Profile

Unlike many highly intensive hybrids that require aggressive fungicide programs, "ES Sirius" demonstrates impressive tolerance to diseases that often lead to significant crop loss:

• Maize Fusarium: high resistance minimizes risks during the late stages of vegetation.
• Common Smut: a powerful immune response preserves the structural integrity of the ear.
• Phytosanitary Resilience: the hybrid exhibits robust resistance to Helminthosporium and stalk rot, simplifying management for agronomists in regions with high infection pressure.

Who is this hybrid for?

The flint-dent grain type provides excellent dry-down rates at maturity, which is crucial for optimizing drying costs. "ES Sirius" is the ideal solution for farmers who refuse to compromise between yield potential and risk mitigation. If your fields are prone to disease buildup, this hybrid serves as an essential "insurance policy," allowing you to reach target yields without excessive chemical expenditure. It is best suited for intensive cultivation systems where every centner counts and phytosanitary security is a top priority.
