DMS Target

DMS Target — mid-early hybrid sweet corn, intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. This hybrid is characterized by an intensive growth type and high adaptability to improved cultivation conditions using intensive technology. DMS Target corn seeds can achieve accelerated early growth at soil temperatures of +9-10°C, ensuring early plant development and formation of well-filled ears with 18-20 rows of kernels. Plants reach maturity with green leaves and quickly lose moisture upon ripening, facilitating harvest and improving grain quality.

The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to heat and drought, allowing it to maintain stable productivity even under conditions of insufficient moisture. DMS Target has high yield potential — up to 15 t/ha, confirmed by trials where dry grain yield reached 108.7 c/ha at 17% moisture. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits resistance to major corn diseases and pests, including common smut and corn borer, ensuring reliable and safe cultivation.

Plants of the hybrid have a height of approximately 190 cm, ear attachment height of about 75 cm, and kernels with a toothed shape and deep yellow coloration. DMS Target responds well to intensive cultivation technologies and is adapted to various agronomic practices, making it an optimal choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable yields of sweet corn under Ukraine’s climatic conditions.
