Maize CR 720

Expertise in Cereal Breeding

The KR 720 hybrid is a product of extensive breeding programs conducted by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center. In an agricultural market where yield stability is paramount, this hybrid offers a reliable solution tailored to withstand diverse environmental pressures while maintaining consistent performance across various soil types.

Disease Resistance and Field Performance

The core value proposition of KR 720 lies in its robust biological resilience against pathogens that frequently impact maize profitability. Breeders have focused on enhancing the plant's inherent defenses against aggressive infections:

• Strong resistance to common smut, which ensures better kernel fill and overall cob integrity.
• Genetic durability against root rots, allowing the plant to thrive even under fluctuating moisture conditions.
• A comprehensive defense profile against Helminthosporium leaf blight, Fusarium, and various rots, significantly lowering the reliance on heavy fungicide applications during the growing season.

KR 720 is specifically designed for producers who prioritize predictable harvest results. Its ability to maintain structural integrity and minimize disease-related losses makes it a strategic choice for modern farming operations aiming to optimize input costs while ensuring stable productivity. By choosing this hybrid, farmers gain an advantage in managing field risks, particularly in seasons prone to high disease pressure.
