Bora (MS 02)

The hybrid sweet corn Bora (FAO 390–400) is a medium-late, high-yielding variety developed by May Agro to ensure a stable harvest even under drought conditions. This hybrid is distinguished by its high drought and high-temperature resistance, ensuring reliable adaptation to various climatic zones and soil types. Bora is ideally suited for intensive cultivation technologies, enabling yields of over 140–150 centners per hectare at the recommended planting density, which varies by region: from 40,000 to 55,000 plants per hectare.

The plant features high-quality yellow dent kernels suitable for processing and long-term storage. The average height of the corn plant and the characteristics of the ear facilitate harvesting and high grain yield. The hybrid demonstrates stable yields and high grain drying intensity after physiological maturity, which helps reduce losses during storage and transport.

To facilitate and accelerate the process of separating corn kernels from cobs, it is recommended to use an electric sheller with a capacity of 3500–4000 kg/hour, power of 1.5 kW, and voltage of 220 V. This equipment significantly enhances the efficiency of crop processing, allowing for rapid and quality preparation of grain for further use.
